identifiying present tense

hi I am not sure that I have identified this sentence correctly“There have always been stories about animals that bring up children" present simple active. Can you let me know if I have? I think it is the present simple active form. thankyou for your help.

It's not the present, that would be: there is.

It's the present perfect.
