TKT

Unread post by Leigh »

Hi!
I'd like to know if anyone has done the TKT or has more info on it. I've been teaching for the last 5 years and am considering taking this exam. I want to continue my studies, but it would have to be by correspondence, as I teach full-time.
Many thanks,
L

I am taking module 2 in the end of the month... I haven't prepared for it...But some teachers who have taken it said it is not that hard....
I think what it really counts is your experience and whether you are updated to the learning - teaching of English!
I may have some more things to tell you soon....
That's all for now!
My best wishes,

Even an experienced teacher should prepare themselves by purchasing the course book or downloading practice tests before taking the test. Try here http://www.cambridgeenglish.org/teachin ... tions/tkt/

I taught it. For an experienced teacher, the substance is easy. On the other hand, the course is heavy on vocabulary. Either get a hold of a book or use the source johnsimpson suggested.
