389 China Job Scams TEFL & ESL Teachers Must Avoid in 2017

Obviously, I cannot list them all here but they are all identified here http://reddit.com/r/chinascamcentral and the the Top 20 scams account for 90% of the fraud which averages $5,700 per victim. Pay attention because these frauds are not very obvious and even intelligent people take the bait. The scams fall into 5 basic categories:
