Practise for English teacher - in UK

Hello, I am Tajana, I have been teaching English for many years, but I have never spent longer time in any English-speaking country and I find it necessary to do that and to improve my English fluency. I am thinking of going to the Uk. I don´t want to teach English children there, my English is not that good. I would like to do any job- even volunteering -with children, elderly people or ill people, or help in a charity. The only thing which I need is to be with nice people, to have oportunity to speak and to have a place where to stay. If you could help me somehow....I would be grateful :-)
