I’m an all-time English lover and learner, and this forum is gonna be a togetherness for everybody who likes writing in EN. No matter how old you are, what your EN level is, and if you are a student or teacher, I’m honored to give you a warm welcome here.
Just recalled a poem in Persian:
هرکه خواهد گو بیا و هرچه خواهد گو بگو ... کبر و ناز و حاجب و دربان بدین درگاه نیست
Well…To get started, I’d like to write about my intentions to create such a forum… Here my intentions go:
1st, a friend of mine—I owe her BIG time- asked me to keep her son interested in EN. Hope he will join us and benefit from this place.
2nd, writing has always been my cup of tea.
3rd, every attempt will be paid someday. As the proverb says: “We reap what we saw”.
...
...
...
100th, learning never ends. We learn in groups and from our mistakes much better.
OK…Are you convinced with my reasoning?
So, never feel shy or whatever to write here. Hurry up. Put your fingers on the keyboard, write something, and let’s take a look at our worlds.
Cheers,
Taravat
P.S. In your first blog, you can introduce yourself and let us know you.
P.P.S. I would like to call this forum "Englishland".
My first correction: We reap what we SOW--not SAW.
Sow is a verb, meaning "to plant seeds on a ground".
I'm certain you know 'saw". So I don't go to the trouble to explain it.
Look...As I said earlier, We learn from our mistakes. In my case, it was a typo. A typo is a misspelled error when you know the correct spell of the word but type it by mistake.
Please check out your dictionary and read more about the verb "sow". My favorite dictionary is Tahlilgaran. Though, please dont get tempted to read only Persian meanings.
I'm back to make a confession. I made one more error in the former blog. Lets see if you can find it.
I give you a clue...It's a punctuation error; not a BIG one. It's worth mentioning though. We are here to learn from our mistakes, huh?
WELCOME...Thanks for dropping by. I was waiting for that moment when I said "Huray". I got a reply finally.

mine—I owe her BIG time- asked
Well...To tell the truth, I made this capitalization on purpose to put emphasis on the word "time". I'm afraid, you should take your turn once more and give it one more try.
Joe wrote: ↑June 30th, 2019, 4:30 pmI think I can spot the error. It's in:
هرکه خواهد گو بیا و هرچه خواهد گو بگو ... کبر و ناز و حاجب و دربان بدین درگاه نیست
Am I right?
By the way, sorry for writing in Persian and making you confused. The poem in Persians says that "Feel free to join us. We have no restrictions here."

lol
The punctuation problem is that you have unbalanced parenthesis
long dash and hyphen
Nope... I made that on purpose too! It's my type habit.

Persian is a very old language, right?
Much older than English I assume.
(But be careful of assume. It makes an ass of u and me.)
Yes...Not only an old language, but also rich in meaning and courtesy. To give you an idea, we seldom use slangs in our written or spoken language. Though You taught me a new idiom tonight!
To make an ass of yourself = to behave stupidly and look silly.
OK...It's bedtime, huh?
Sweet dreams!

I shouldn't have used capitalized word after the comma mark.
I'm too particular and picky, right? it's due to the fact that I've been a scientific writer. Scientific writers must be particular about grammar, punctuation, dictation, whatnot in their formal and professional works.
You can still find some other errors in my texts, I believe. Wanna give it a shot?

Well, that needs correcting. But I’m really thinking of the word saw.
Hahaha... Saw is past tense form of the verb see.
Drop it... Lets put an end to this boring dialogue!
Ahhh. Good news...You made me forget my headache for a while. Thanks for your soothing company!
Gotta go. Bye for now
WOW... Look who is here...I'm SO happy you are here Mahdi. Thanks for your post. I like it so much.

What is your name?
How old are you?
Where do you come from?
What is your favorite color?
How old I am? Never ever ask ladies how old they are! This question is one of the BIGGEST secrets of all history.
Where do I come from? Well...I come from wonderland, as in " Alice in wonderland". Ever read it's story or watched the film?
My favorite color? Luckily, I can answer to this one. It's green. how about yours?
This is a public place and I can't tell much about my personal life. But you can ask your sweet mum and she will tell you all about me. Let me tell you something. You have a wonderful mum. You must be proud of her.

P.S. Good thing we can use our phones to post blogs here.
Today is the Girl’s Day in our Persian calendar. We celebrate this day on the occasion of Hazrat Maasoumeh's birthday (PBUH).
Happy Girl’s Day to all earthly angels. Life would be dull and boring without girls, right?
This occasion should be taken as an opportunity to make girls understand their crucial role and position in families and societies. Girls should be cherished, adored, and valued. We should keep in mind that today’s girls will make future mums. Families should instill acceptance, power, and love into the girls so that they will make strong mums in the future, and thereby create happy and healthy families and generations. So, remember to congratulate every girl around you on this occasion, and make them feel valued.
One more thing… Our government complains about high rates of plastic surgeries and cosmetic product imports, and states these numbers are higher than global norm. What's wrong?
I suspect something is wrong with minds not looks! Our parents bought us dolls and furniture toys when we were small kids, What do we buy for our baby gals?
I believe we are raising walking painted and decorated dolls than girls. We are conveying this message to new generation unknowingly to be dependent on artificial beauties in order to feel secure about themselves. This way, they get obsessed with their look, forgetting the importance of true values such as morality, modesty, self-improvement, etc.
Kids should learn that they are beautiful even without heavy makeups. They should bear in mind that there is beauty in simplicity.
I'm concerned about our future kids. How about you?
