Causatives

Post by SpeakUp »

In the student exam, the teacher asked the students to" form causative from the following sentences". Is there another way to change the following sentences into causative without starting with "I"?
1. The teacher explained the lesson.
2. The waiter has brought some water.
3. The nurse took your temperature.

Thank you for solving my dilemma {-:

I believe you may be confusing the terms 'causative' and 'passive', and suggest that you check directly with your teacher.
