I always dislike any teaching systems where I'm expected to write a long record of work after every lesson.

A workaround for this can be incorporating the post-lesson record with the pre-lesson plan. Thus you can write the record of work as part of your lesson planning work, and then just note any differences that occurred after the lesson.

With teaching in general these days, there is often too much time spent on proving you are teaching good lessons which ironically takes time away from actually teaching good lessons.
