Yes...Not only an old language, but also rich in meaning and courtesy. To give you an idea, we seldom use slangs in our written or spoken language. Though You taught me a new idiom tonight!

To make an ass of yourself = to behave stupidly and look silly.

How old I am? Never ever ask ladies how old they are! This question is one of the BIGGEST secrets of all history.

Today is the Girl’s Day in our Persian calendar. We celebrate this day on the occasion of Hazrat Maasoumeh's birthday (PBUH).
Happy Girl’s Day to all earthly angels. Life would be dull and boring without girls, right?




This occasion should be taken as an opportunity to make girls understand their crucial role and position in families and societies. Girls should be cherished, adored, and valued. We should keep in mind that today’s girls will make future mums. Families should instill acceptance, power, and love into the girls so that they will make strong mums in the future, and thereby create happy and healthy families and generations. So, remember to congratulate every girl around you on this occasion, and make them feel valued.



One more thing… Our government complains about high rates of plastic surgeries and cosmetic product imports, and states these numbers are higher than global norm. What's wrong?
I suspect something is wrong with minds not looks! Our parents bought us dolls and furniture toys when we were small kids, What do we buy for our baby gals?



I believe we are raising walking painted and decorated dolls than girls. We are conveying this message to new generation unknowingly to be dependent on artificial beauties in order to feel secure about themselves. This way, they get obsessed with their look, forgetting the importance of true values such as morality, modesty, self-improvement, etc.
Kids should learn that they are beautiful even without heavy makeups. They should bear in mind that there is beauty in simplicity.
I'm concerned about our future kids. How about you?

i won't be shy ) I am old enough but i like English. I am from russia, Novosibirsk. I've been learning english for 3 years. English is my hobby so i have not a goal to learn it quickly.
i can make a lot of mistakes ) But english is fun for me. So, i don't care -))

Russia is the largest country in the world. And there are a lot of warm places without snow during a year. In Novosibirs we have about 6 snow months. We go skiing and ice skating -)
Our women are beautiful -) slender white-skinned with light brown hair!
We have three names: first, second and last, it is not very long i think )
We speak Russian. It is not very simple language but we love it ) Below small example:

I visited a holy shrine last night and I felt like writing a post in this regard.

We are told that mosques and holy shrines are built for us to worship Allah there. I believe it doesn’t end right there. These places are there to reunite us with our lost inner peace, and on top of that, to connect us to the superpower “Allah”. Allah doesn’t need our worship but we need Him in every aspect of our lives.

I haven’t visited temples, churches, and mosques in any other country, but I believe our mosques are quite unique. You might ask unique in what terms?

Well…You just need to visit Islamic mosques to truly understand my claim. The marvelous and extraordinary architectures of our mosques are meant to create a spiritual atmosphere that uplifts souls and spirits. Great mixture of soothing colors of small tiles that are placed next to another tactfully, the composition of small pieces of mirrors, and the reflection of light in these pieces of mirrors add to the peace and tranquility of such places. When you visit these places, you feel you are embraced with tranquility and you don’t want to quit.

Islamic mosques are great symbols of our extraordinary architecture built by our expert architects whom they should be bragged and showed off. We should visit these places oftentimes to find ourselves there.

What do you do on the weekend?
I personally oversleep. The only days I can sleep longer are on Fridays. Sleep is sweet, isn't it?
I do a major housecleaning on Fridays, go shopping-some shops are closed on weekends and it sucks-, do some reading, and go out sometimes. Sometimes I cook a delicious meal too!

I'll take some rest and write as soon as I possibly can.

What a lonely existence! Anyhow, I would like to say a warm HELLO to whom they are reading me in silence! It's a great pleasure to be read by YOU!

You know, I used to write more often before. By before I mean a few years ago. These days I write quite often but not as often as I used to do. Anyhow, better late than never. Agree?

Ok...Tonight, I feel like writing a bit about this idiom.



What a profound idiom, right?
It refers to some similar concepts like "The cause-and-effect rule", "Karma", etc. Ever heard of or thought about these concepts?
These all say that every single act we do can potentially affect our world in one way or another. We play a significant role in the destiny of ours and even our generations'.

Those who are looking for self-improvement understand this rule pretty well and try to recheck their thoughts, acts, interactions oftentimes. They analyze everything in their mind, criticizing or encouraging themselves constantly. I don't mean that we become obsessed with self-criticism. We can keep self-encouragement and self-criticism balanced to achieve self-improvement.

This way, we will be more cautious about our daily interactions with people around us as well. We are social creatures and are living in groups. Our acts affect the people we are dealing with and vice versa. Interactions are so important and complex. Some actions can leave unforgettable impressions on people ranging from positive (e.g., kindness, benevolence, generosity, affection, care) to negative (e.g., hatred, anger, wrath, jealousy, etc).

TOO sophisticated?! It's typical of me to make the simplest things too complex! I might explain later.

I was too busy today. Hopefully, I could manage to write a post here after all. Its bedtime. So i will make the long story short.
Its just been a few months since I quit my former workplace and got another job. What I like most about my new job is getting to know new individuals. Some of them are of elite group- I mean intellectually. I really enjoy interacting with people who have great things to offer.
I met somebody last week and she gave me a great book. It was a real eye opener for me.
Since this place isn't a Persian friendly webpage, I surfed the net and found the book in English.
By reading E-books or listening to audio books in English, we -English learners- kill two birds with one stone. Right?
The book is '' The dark side of the light chasers'', by Debbie Ford. It instructs us to take a deeper and different look at the inner aspects of our personalities. The link to its ebook is right below:

I took a day off today to stay at home and have some rest. I ended up going out to run some errands. Though, I'm happy I could finish the jobs that I was putting off until tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, so on and so forth. Anyhow...Now, I can have a pit stop here and write a blog. In tonight's blog, I'd like to write about the benefits of writing.



As I mentioned earlier, writing has always been my favorite hobby. When I write, I'm able to manage my thought patterns. Generally, I contemplate too much and my mind is kind of a mess. By writing, I can tidy up my messy mind and stop ruminating. In other words, It's me who manages her thoughts, and not the reverse.

Also, I like being productive. Productivity brings us happiness. How? It's a good thing to be heard or read by others. right? We are social creatures and we like socializing with others. Writing is an excellent way to communicate with people, to share our ideas and thoughts, to leave impressions, to touch somebody's heart, to bring someone's face a smile, and so on. Writing can connect us to people whom we have never met or seen in the present or even too far in the future. Writing can connect souls and brings individuals together.

Last but not least, I have learned and still am learning a lot out of writing. By writing in English, I could boost my skills in English. It increases my vocabulary and helps me to master confusing English grammar. On top of that, I can make use of my English skills, and as a result, become confident and proficient.
