Hi TuWenSu
I'm from Italy and i agree with you especially for pizza hahahaha
even though I think we eat pasta TOO much... every day for lunch and often for dinner too!!
Rome it's a nice place, but we have a more better cities; there is Firenze full of art, Perugia that it's the city of chocolate and there is Peruguna's factory; Napoli where you can eat the best pizza in the whole world, people are sociable, there are the best dessert and it's full of art, music and history!. But there are also Sicily, Sardegna ....hahahah well at the end Italy it's full of wonderful places, you have only to close your eyes and chose a place.

I was in Italy in June , it ´s a wonderful country . I was traveling with my husband and my kids , in a long trip beggining at Milan a great city with its imposing Cathedral the" Duomo di Milano ". Our next destination was Cinque Terre this is a group of five towns at the Coast of Liguria ( Riomaggiore , Corniglia , Monterrosso di Mare , Vernazza and Manarola), it's one of my recommended places to visit . Then we took a train from La Spezia to Rome . This is a the unforgettable city full of history and beautiful squares with a lot of fountains . After, we went to Naples , big surprise , noisy and dirty city but the end its pizza is the best in the world. We continued until the Amalfi Coast ( Salerno , Positano , Vietri sul mare , Amalfi ), traveling in a boat the wonderful experience , landscapes unique , delicious food and friendly people . In Salerno we enjoy the best local food in the best restaurant Mamma Rosa in Salerno .
I would like share a photo of my trip but the file is to big for share . {-: :-D

A few years back I was in India, but I met a local man who looks like a European and he told me he was the son of a Italian man who had left him and his mother, well, .... I said to him, "you should go to Italy to find your dad, because Italy is much better than India in many respects." But that guy surprised me with his words, "I think to live here suits me well."
You know what, he was repairing engineering machine by the road side in a small and shabby shop when our conversation took place.

But today Italy is in the biggest trouble in its history with so many people contracting the novel coronavirus. Even the pope who lives near them seems to be coughing during the church service. But China, my country, tries to help Italy by sending a team of medical staff and tons of supplies.

Rome is so beautiful. I was there for 7 days and wherever you go there are a lot of interesting buildings and monuments. From the Spanish steps to Fontana di trevi and all of the beautiful archeological findings from ancient Rome are breathtaking. But the most interesting place for me was the Vatican museum, they have artifacts from everywhere.
The next city I want to visit is Florence, there is so much history there, walking through the streets is like walking in a museum.
Italy is the most beautiful place on Earth.

Rome does have really interesting old buildings and places to see. When I visited Rome I especially liked the Colosseum - it was amazing to think of all the history there. Italy has so many beautiful cities to explore. Next time you should check out Florence too - the art and architecture are stunning.
