A lady could not have her newly-purchased Mercedes-Benz car assured of the high quality as desired after a long time of vain communication with the 4S dealership, so she chose to sit on the engine cover, or the hood, to cry out her requests. Her act was then filmed and played on social media, which caused wide attention from the whole country.
This was the most eye-catching news in recent days of China, a country famous for low quality goods and bad services and telling lies even when caught red-handed.

I'm not really questioning her gender. I just wonder why you say "lady" when the normal word is "woman". The word "lady" is possible, but it's usually reserved for very polite or formal usage, which seems out of context here

And also, is this a real Mercedes-Benz authorized retailer? Seems hard to believe. I heard that some people just get Mercedes-Benz parts (many of them fake), assemble them into cars and sell the cars as Mercedes-Benz cars.
