Looking forwarding to ~ing???

Post by ByronViggo »

Hey guys, I recently came across a sentence from a book that says "I'm looking forwarding to traveling with you."

AFAIK, forward in 'Look forward to' is adjective and cannot be forwarding.

So I'm suspecting that this is a typo.

Could anyone confirm this? Or could it be a rare use case that I haven't seen before?

You are right.

“I am looking forwarding to…” is not English.

Normally it should be:

“I am looking forward to…”
