This might seem pretty obvious, but still...
"He is studying in his room" is Present Continuous
"He is in his room" is Present Simple
And what if I include both, but separate them?
"He is in his room studying"- Simple or Continuous?
Is this sentence Present Simple or Continuous

Re: Is this sentence Present Simple or Continuous
The last sentence, 'he is in his room studying.', I think is a simple sentence using verb 'studying' as a gerund which is part of non-finites.
