"the baseball announcers" vs. "baseball announcers"

Post by shiqangpan »

I explained a few baseball terms to my friends, where I started with
"You might hear baseball announcers say ..."
Should I have said "You might hear the baseball announcers say ..."?

I didn't mean to refer to some specific baseball announcers, though baseball announcers is a specific group of announcers as opposed to all kinds of announcers.

In short, should I put "the" before "baseball announcers"?
