As a ESL/EFL Teacher, Once you manage to successfully help your students 'activate' their passive grammar knowledge, your learners will be able to produce grammatically well-structured sentences without having to focus on the sentence formation process in their minds, which can be achieved through personalization of grammar points in mixture of other skills in a more tangible context familiar for the learners.
your main question: ESL students have less focus on grammar since their experience more of a context-based theme of learning in which grammar is rarely solely presented and they experience more of acquisition rather than learning.

It's important to have a strong foundation in grammar when learning a new language. After all, grammar is what helps us put words together in the correct order and form meaningful sentences. Without good grammar skills, it's difficult to communicate effectively in any language.

That said, English isn't just about grammar rules. It's also about fluency and being able to use the language naturally. So don't worry if you don't know all the rules off the top of your head. There are plenty of resources available to help you improve your grammar skills, such as work/life English ESL grammar workbooks. With a little practice, you'll be speaking like a native in no time!

It is important to learn grammar while learning English as it plays an important role in forming and creating sentences and ensuring the right structure when using the English Language. It is difficult to have perfect grammar but with some efforts put in, it will definitely help and aid in the learning process. By learning, it includes taking initiative to read, write, listen, and speak in English with daily usage of the language. You can refer to the Internet for more information on learning English and there are plenty of blogs posted by reputable site https://bigbenacademy.edu.my/ for reading to improve grammar and online tests are available to test the level of knowledge.
