English is a ruthless language, but no more difficult I am sure than Mandarin. The folks in here will be pleased to help you learn. Simply post any questions you may have, and there are plenty of kind souls ready to help you learn. Good luck!

the best way to learn english is, firstly, that you have to love it!!!

If you are english-addicted, it is easy to learn english.because for an english-addicted person, learning english is a pleasure.

A lot of people say; " To master a (foreign)language, you've got to feel it!"

I couldn't agree more with the statement!

and put and let this topic at the top of the forum,

because many people ask this same and fatal question.

"Ruthless" means "having no ruths" ("Ruth" is a proper noun, but "ruth" means "compassion for the misery of another" but no one ever says that any more:

http://www.britannica.com/dictionary?bo ... query=ruth

"Ruthless" therefore means "merciless" or "cruel."

The word can take an "a" or not depending on its usage; examples:

"He was ruthless in his prosecution of the guilty man"
"The jury was ruthless in finding him guilty."
"The fighters were ruthless in their match."

or

"She was a ruthless woman bent on destruction."
"He was a ruthless businessman who would not give discounts."
