Confusing words!

As an english beginner, I do remember vocabulary everyday. however, some words are mixed. and we always mess them up while remembering them.

Here are some confusing words that we always can't remember clearly. In order to avoid these similiar remembering mistakes, I list some of them here. I hope it would help you.

dummy isn't yummy
dom isn't damn
sheet isn't ~
witch isn't bitch
baseman isn't bastard
pump isn't pimp
hooky isn't hooker
whale isn't whore

Oh, thanks. So..., we have to be careful to pronounce these words. And, I experienced these words in my Japanese friends.
Like that, "We prayed basketball yesterday.". As you know, this REAL sentences is that; We played basketball yesterday. We should be careful baout that.
