The one is an adjective, the other one is a contraction an+other.

Another time = an other time ? the other ones will help us.

I like to explain things using examples which is another method that can be used to make the others understand things. ;)

Post by Bond007 »

I read some guidance and am sorry to say that whosoever has guided u is practically wrong:

OTHER means :

either, second, one of two, different, additional.
(These meanings differ when used in sentences)

ANOTHER means:

new, more, alia, extra, further.

It also refers to in three other categories linking with:
other, second, additional.

You must ensure that when the word is used, u are using it in correct sense to be conveyed and to be understood by the listener or reader.
