Need help with this text

I'd really love if u could help me with this text making corrections such as commas,phrasal verbs to add and whatever u think need to be corrected :)

I was sure that, that week on a cruise would have reserved me a wonderful surprise, but, I never imaged that this surprise would have been so great…
While I was sitting on the aft deck watching the coast drifting away from me and the sun that was going down, not far from me there was a group of boys and girls (I suppose my age) that was having fun, ready to enjoy that week; he was sitting there, in focus of attention, everyone was attracted by him, always listening to what he thought about a subject or a person in particular. The girls were trying their best to get noticed by him, but he did not consider any of them. I was surprised about the attention that had around him…
While I was watching him from far, I realized that he was looking in my direction too, I turned, sure he was watching someone behind me, but there wasn’t no one!
I re-begun to watch the sea, trying to ignore their shouts and laughs, feeling so lonely..
While my tears were falling down I heard a hand resting upon my shoulder. I turned, it was him ,the boy I have been watching for hours, he was asking “Would you like to join us?”,I answers stuttering “,I don’t know anyone”, he said “Nice to meet, I’m Tom, now you know me…”
It was a wonderful evening, we laughed and joked all night long, and when it was nearly dawn everyone was sleeping on the aft deck, except me and Tom ,we were still talking.
“Do you believe in love at the first sight” he said ,I could not answer because he just grabbed me and kissed me sofly and sweetly. From that moment we never left each other, except for excursion, because our parents didn’t know each other, so they preferred separated excursions.
We made love the day after, it was a wonderful experience , but it was only 1 week and our dream love was coming to an end. I did no t know nothing about him and he did not know nothing about me , it was like if we were born on the moment we met on the ship!
The last day our families decided for separated trips/excursions ,I saw him twice, but then he disappeared, I have not heard from him all the evening, so I decided to dance trying no to think about him.
At 4 AM I reached the aft deck where we had our first kiss and begun to cry, he approached from behind so I couldn’t see him and hugged me, crying as well, we did not talk, we stayed there crying ,motionless ,until dawn ,then, he turned me and he gave me a kiss, a wonderful kiss, so sweet but at the same time so cruel, our goodbye/farewell kiss. When he detached from me he told me he was engaged since 3 years and that in a few he would have got married. That was the time I saw him, but regardless/in spite of everything he will always be in my heart.
