Yes, I see it's the same.

BTW I guess you know what "verga" means in Spanish. Then it's closely related: from "cojones", "cojonudo". From "verga", "vergatario"

Quite vulgar, but still

BTW in Catalan we say "collonut" 8)

Oh yes, I know what its means... and BTW, you can use it in that context too... you know, the vulgar one.. ... But you know that "verga" alone is more used in the Zulia state, which is located in the west part of Venezuela.... people from there use it to describe EVERYTHING!!!... For instance, if tehy don´t know a tool´s name (or whatever) they say... "Give me that Verga".... Or when something bad happens, they say.." What verga!" (Que Verga!!)... I can give you more examples, but I´d have to write a book to give all the context in which the "maracuchos" use that word....

Hahahahahaha the verga thing is REALLY funny!!

Sorry the Catalan sound for the digraph ll does not exist in English or Spanish, can't explain but anyway how would you pronounce a word with a ll? Probably more like co - yo -nut, as you pointed out.

In my last English class we were talking about many latino Customs, like to eat when we are walking, Greeting with kisses, or Touching people, there are some things that are normal for us, but I would like to know what it mens in other cultures,

I hope your answer.......

:D

We greet with kisses on cheeks and also hug each other while greeting or some shake hands. Eating while walking, depends some people do it however it is not a custome. depends on a person's needs, if he doesnt have time to eat and he eats while walking then I cant say anything or else it is not a tradition :-P
