We greet with a kiss on each cheek, but I don't like this custom.

Eat while walking? What do you mean, jairotico? Like, eating a sandwich while walking on the street?

I don't like Latino culture. It's too strange.I even don't know why, I have only seen in tv. and Internet but it doesn't sympathize to me. Beside of that eating while walking might be dangerous. You need to watch were to you walk. But when you eat soup same time you need to do already 3 things at once looking out not to spill soup, look your steps and hold spoon.. My nephew once crashed and broke bone because he did wrap candy off from paper while bicycling. I guess in Latin countries are that kind of accidents are really common.. That's why people there like to kiss each other and touch, because it might be just a way to see wetter their companions are still alive.

Latin America is formed by several countries, so there are many different cultures. But there are some things I think is common to most of the contries here. For example, happiness. In general latins like parties all the time, smile all the time, they hug and kiss all their friends... Once I saw a japanese girl who came to an interchange be astonished when people who she didn't know greet her with kisses and hugs.

Other thing common is the sensuality. Many people from other countries may think it's vulgar, but think a bit about it. Most the latin countries have a hot and wet climate, so we commonly use few clothes. So, it's part of our culture, you know.

Eating while walking? Well, people here don't use to do that, I think. Maybe it's a custom of some countries only

Maybe Jairotico didn´t use the correct word. People don´t eat soup on the strett. he refer to snaks. and there is not accidents for that, I mean not a big percentage of accidents, and if there is one this is not provoque a big problem. People from another continents have a wrong idea of us.
Latinamerican people is very friendly, warm, but veru respectfull with others, particulary with tourist.
We smile because, even the economic crisis, we are happy. Poor very poor people smile, go to parties, or only go to the street to chat with neigbors. If is the birthdat or someone of the poor family, even they don´t have enough money, they prepare a little better food to celebrate.
We say "hello" not only with words but also wit smiles, kisses, shake hands, and if someone find a person who is angry and protest about anything the rest think "what a crazy boy/woman she/he is neurotic" and we encourage other to be happy "take it easy".
You should ask people who had visited a latinamerican country and I´m sure a hig percentage will answer that we are warma and friendly people.
Particulary I don´t like to eat snakcs, but here in this bigger city, people don´t have enough time to sid dawn and eat breakfast or lunch, so too much people eat in the office, school or work.

Kisses for all of you

Maybe you guys should tone it down a bit, then. The men do it too much that it's quite annoying to me. Just imagine yourself as a girl who was walking down on a street and getting all the whistle and dirty pickup lines, I don't think you'd feel comfortable or appreciated. Why can't they understand that a little "hey" or a turning head is quite appropriate???

Last time, I was walking around downtown in my city, and one Hispanic guy was biking pass me. He suddenly extended his arm out and grabbed me on the crotch before speeding off. I was so frigging shocked that I couldn't take off my shoes fast enough to throw him in the head hoping he would have fell off his bike.

I hope not missunderstand your words, or you don´t missunderstand mine.
In tropical countries of Latinamerica -like Brasil- women use light clothes, miniskirts, shorts, tops, etc. because of the hot climate. Is natural for them. and is natural for men too. Of course that no means that those women use those clothes to provoque men, is the weather and the fashion.
Unfurtunally in Latinamerica omen have the same bad experience you had with the hispanic guy, because here, as in another countries: UK, spain, Corea, India, etc.,- there are men that don´t know the meaning of the word "respect".
One thing is that you get the attention of men, because you are pretty, and another thing is men be agressive with you.
