embarrassed

One noon I went to lunch at the cafeteria in the basement of our school. After entering the small restaurant, I went to the counter where the patrons were waiting in line to order their meals. Everyone followed one after another orderly. When my turn came, I suddenly found I had left my money at home. I was so embarrassed at that time that I didn't know what to do next.



　I felt my heart beat violently and the people around the cafeteria seemed to be watching me. I had no choice but to pray that God would send somebody to deliver me from anxiety. All at once, one of my classmates appeared in front of me, believe it or not. It was very kind of him to help me pay for my food.
